Food for Thought

For all my industry entertainment industry friends and for anyone who seeks knowledge about radio and music here's a thought. I wonder about the power and validity of broadcast radio and radio online. How does the growth of online stations affect the industry in general? Are people desiring to hear all these new avenues of media entertainment? And how can a person find a particular station when nearly all the presentations sound the same playing the same music? It seems to me that it would be almost impossible to distinguish one station from another. It's like seeing thousands of people wearing the same RED SHIRT and WHITE PANTS with a red and white cap or scarf. How would you tell the difference? Radio is still a great and I love the medium but I just can't listen to it anymore. There are just too many choices that sound the same to choose from. Here is some interesting food for thought  http://www.audiographics.com/agd/021014-2.htm
